<description>Thanks Lisa, I agree with you 100%. Many of the sole proprietors and small businesses that I work with have a limited understanding of what goes into building a truly beneficial online presence. It&#039;s our job to educate them, and steer them in the right direction so they can compete effectively. I don&#039;t think there is a widespread understanding of how the right website and online marketing strategies can bring in new customers and grow profits. Still, I&#039;m dedicated to working with these small business owners and helping them succeed by leveraging the many opportunities that the internet offers.

Your article is excellent, and I do think my readers will appreciate it. Thanks so much!

		<description>Great piece Melissa!

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, small businesses represent 99.7 percent of all employer firms -- the majority being sole proprietors followed by those with less than 20 employees.

Having awareness of the need for an online presence and allocating marketing dollars towards branding and online community development, can give these small companies a competitive advantage and bring sales to their businesses through many different forums.

I posted about this last August after examining my local business climate. I think some of it will resonate with you and your readers.
